I started varsity doing a BBA Marketing Management, still working as an au pair, been doing shoots to make some money and starting to save to teach English overseas.

How do you feel your modeling career has grown since then?
I have worked on my body and I have added some amazing images to my portfolio.

What does it mean to you to be a featured LW Babe for the second time?
It means that I have worked hard to make sure I look good enough to be featured for the second time. I love everyone involved with LW Mag, they are all awesome people and the shoot is always tons of fun!

We took a different and much sexier approach with this shoot. What are your thoughts on the final product, and what goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera?
Anyone who knows me, knows that I love the more sexy and racier shots, which is why I enjoyed the shoot so much. Being in front of the camera, doing my thing, makes me feel alive, I get to really express who I am.

In which scene did you feel the sexiest?
I felt the sexiest in the bedroom shots on the bed and on the dressing table. I’m very confident in myself and body, so I love flaunting.

What is your idea of sex appeal?
My idea of sex appeal isn’t about looking ‘easy’ or being a piece of meat. Women are sexy, curves are sexy and a woman’s body is something of a work of art. So for me, sex appeal is showcasing the parts of me I was given and the parts of me I have worked hard to get. No one knows what it took to get me there, especially self-esteem wise. So I am proud of how confident I am. Sex appeal is about being you!

What are you hoping is going through the minds of our readers while they are enjoying your feature?
I want the readers to see, male or female, that I am myself and I want them to see the passion and drive in my eyes. Some might judge, some might love it, but at the end of it all, I’m doing what makes me happy.

They say if you have its flaunt it. What do you like flaunting the most?
Love that statement! I would say I love flaunting my eyes and my bum… I have worked hard for my bum!

What do you like to do for fun?
I love reading, soaking up the sun, having a Gin and Dry Lemon and being with my amazing friends and boyfriend.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you?
As much as it may not seem like it, I really feel I have a low self esteem. Which is why I value modeling so much as it has really helped to build my confidence.

What has been one of the most daring things you have done, and would you do it again?
The most daring thing I’ve done would have to be Micro-lighting over the Indian Ocean a few years ago. I am not an adrenaline junkie at all, so that was quite scary! But so exhilarating!

If you could live our any career opportunity for one day, what would it be?
I would love to be a Victoria’s Secret model for a day. I idolise those women and everyone thinks it’s so easy and anyone can do it, but it takes blood, sweat and tears to be at the top.

What are you looking forward to experiencing in 2018?
I am looking forward to traveling around the world with my boyfriend once we are qualified teachers. I am passionate about travel. Hence the ‘Wanderlust’ tattoo.

Making changes in my clients lives.

Work [laughs]. I start training clients from 5am and finish at 8pm. Boring I know.

If you could be any one famous person for one day, who would it be and what would you get up to?
Michelle Rodriguez (Lettie from Fast and Furious). Her life story is amazing. I’d also definitely test drive all the cars on the set of Fast and Furious.

What do you like to do for fun?
Seeing that I never get the time, hangout with friends and family, and most importantly sleep.

When I’m with my man or after a few vodka and cream sodas.

What does our ultimate fantasy entail?

Give us an introduction into who Jessica Rautenbach is?
This is never an easy question to answer. Like a lot of people, there are a few sides to me… I enjoy the simplicity of life, really appreciating the little things. I can be quite stubborn and hard headed when it comes to my personal goals. I’m an all or nothing kind of girl in that sense. Despite this, I’m gentle natured and have a very soft heart especially when it comes to my family and loved ones.

What does a day in your life consist of? 
A day in the life of Jessica, would start off with Fasted Cardio every morning. Followed by my favourite Americano coffee from Seattle Coffee Co to get my day started. I have recently started my own aesthetics wear brand called Volcanic Aesthetics, which I usually work on in the mornings, designing new apparel or meeting with costumers.
Afternoons, I work part time at virgin active Meyersdal as a swim coach where I teach the learn-to-swim program as well as stroke correction. I get to work with the most amazing children everyday, they bring out the kid in me. I love how playful I am allowed to be, to let my imagination work a little as an adult.  Weight training is done in the evenings specific to my program – this is the best part of my day. It allows me to just leave the day in the gym. It just clears my mind, where I’m only focused on the goals ahead.

If you could own any one thing for a day, what would it be?
A glass dome plane with my own personal pilot, so I can have a bird’s eye view of the world and go wherever my heart desires.

You obviously know how to keep you body in shape. What are some of your favorite workouts/ routines? 
I absolutely love leg day. Some of my favourite workouts are Bulgarian split squats, sumo squats, leg extensions and standing hammie curls. Triceps are another favourite, with cable kick backs and body weight tricep dips.

What are some of the favorite parts of your body?
My legs are definitely a favourite, I think because it’s the one muscle group I really focus on. I also love my shoulders, they have transformed immensely and I am proud of that.

What do you like to do with your downtime? 
When it’s downtime, I really try to focus on the mind, body and spirit. I incorporate meditation and yoga to get somewhat of a clear mind for the next task or activity that will follow.

What are weekends made for?
Family and friends.

What attracts you to a guy?
Brown eyes! It’s a must. Determination and also someone who is into fitness.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you?
Although I’m energetic and active, I am somewhat of an introvert. I enjoy my own time and being alone.

What is your idea of sensual? 
What happens in bed, stays in bed [winks].

What are you turn ons and turn offs?
Turn ons – Someone who is motivated, someone who is expressive and adventurous.
Turn offs – Feet must be kept away at all times.

Where do you see yourself in five years time? 
In 5 years I hope that my aesthetics business will take off and be successful. I see myself still competing in aesthetics and hopefully competing at worlds.

What drives you?
My tenaciousness and trust in the universe. My friendships (thank you universe) and the thought that there are still restaurants out there that I haven’t tried yet.

What do your daily routines normally consist of? 
As much as I appreciate a good routine I like to keep my options open. A typical day in the life of Leah would consist of a morning coffee, early clients @IMF Ballito starting anything from 04:30 onwards, then off to Zimbali where I manage our Gym facility, admin (bleh). Back to IMF which is my home gym and the most social part of my day, my colleagues (read friends) are the shizz nizz and our clients are the coolest bunch you’ll ever meet. Train, afternoon coffee, “where are we going for lunch guys?”. Afternoon clients. Home time, tea, music and time to explore in the kitchen.

Do you consider yourself more naughty or nice?
Overly nice. I am kind to every person I meet, you never know who you’ll bump into and how your relationship with them could benefit your future. Be kind, always!

What are your pet peeves?
Misophonia, I will cut you if I hear you chewing.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Cruising down Ballito drive in my Jeep Wrangler, the soft top down, Levi (my future Shepard) in the passenger seat head out of the window, tongue flapping in the wind. On my way to lunch of course.
Oh and I’ve just landed in from which ever country I made an appearance in to MC/ Talk/ Host a Health and Fitness related event (that I’ve organised preferably).

How do you keep you body in such good shape?
80/20 Rule – Life is about balance. I make good food choices 80% of the time and indulge in the other 20%. Sometimes the math is off but you get where I’m going with this. I do weight training 2 times p.w, I try to run at least 3 times p.w and my favourite, Yoga! I practice as often as I can but dedicate Thursday evenings to a session with Niki from Play.Move.Breathe.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love going out and sharing a meal with good friends. I love turning the music up and driving a little faster than I actually should. I have fun when I am in good company so this is a tricky one, I would have more fun sitting in our coffee shop at work with my bestie than I would on a weekend away with crappy people.

What are some of the worst ways guys have tried to pick you up?
Cheesy pick-up-lines and sliding into DM’s. Although I must say this is not a problem for me, resting bitch face is strong!

What type of guy are you attracted to? 
I don’t have a type. I am attracted to kindness and intellect. You have to love food and be able challenge my perspective (just enough) in all aspects of life. I appreciate ambition and a good sense of humour (I am hilarious). He needs to take care of himself, stay fit and be well groomed. Also good banter is a lady killer!

What is your idea of sex appeal?
“Google searches sex appeal”. Jokes, in my opinion it is your ability to leave an impression and it’s largely based on your self confidence. Different strokes for different folks, your sex appeal can be anything from your looks to your ability to converse on the topic of Quantum Physics. It depends really, all that matters is that you are 100% authentic, it’s not something you can fake.

Nice? Myself duh. No actually my grandmothers attempts to better my vocabulary by combatting “that’s nice” with, “a cup of tea is nice”.

Expanding my professional network and working in a more creative field, and mostly living a more balanced life.

Going to space (dreams). I imagine being nothing but a speck in an infinitive space to be an extraordinarily and humbling experience.

Fitness is a balanced lifestyle and being constant is key. Eat to nourish and then sometimes to treat a little [laughs].

What are some of your favourite workouts?
I like to train legs and glutes, it’s when I feel the most tired afterwards and makes me feel like I worked hard.

What are your pet peeves while training? 
When someone sits on machines, on their phones, and they don’t really use the machine.

My abs. They are genetically my strongest or best body part.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like to go mountain biking.

I don’t have a lot of things on my bucket list, but I do have a lot of goals. Traveling the world, inspiring women, diving and hot-air ballooning.

If you could live in any era, which would it be?
I wouldn’t want to live in any other era but now. I love the fashion and trends.

What are your pro’s and con’s of the world we live in today?
Pro’s are that there’s so much more variety in restaurants, easy ways of traveling, and keeping in contact with people.
Con’s are that social media ruins a lot of relationships and also takes over more important things in life.

I think I’m quite and open book, but I think most people don’t know that I’m very soft and sensitive.

Your most embarrassing moment?
Well there are lots, but the latest one was when I fell as I walked out of gym and sprained my ankle.

I have a lot of proud moments. Off the top of my head is when I came 3rd at WFF Worlds in Ireland.

Always a laugh. Working with Lyle is like doing what you are passionate about with your best friend. He is the most amazing photographer and allows a natural beauty to come out of whoever he shoots, and he never over edits.

Where would you like to see your modeling career take you? 
Modeling for me now is more of a passion than a career, if it takes me on a crazy fun adventure then I’m ready for the challenge.

What is your favorite Action Sport?
It would have to be Skateboarding, as it was my teenage years hobby and it takes skill, practice and determination to master.

What scares you?
Sharks. My biggest fear and a challenge I intend on facing by December.

What are your do’s and don’ts when it comes to dating?
Do – Let me do my thing, less soppy moments and more fun and creative moments.
Don’t – Don’t smother me, don’t chew loudly and don’t be more of a girl than I am.
Oh and you have to eat the orange wine gums in the roll for me.

Have you ever used your good looks the get yourself out of trouble?
Of course. Whoever says no is lying. On a building site handover I had no safety vest, hard hat or safety boots (what girl owns these), instead of being kicked off site I did the eyelash flatter and was able to continue.

When you were younger, what was your dream job?
My dream job a few years ago was to join the British Army and become an Airforce Pilot.

What advise would you give to your 15 year old self?
School ain’t that bad and enjoy your teenage years, stop trying to grow up so quickly.

With Winter knocking on the door, what are your pros and cons of the cold season?
Cold season? I’m from KZN, we don’t have winter’s. But for the less hotter days, pros would be being cuddled up in bed while watching series and not needing aircon. Cons hmmm…. I like KZN winter’s so no cons.

Where is your dream holiday destination?
The UK, to see Warner Bros studios and the set of Harry Potter #nerdalert.

When I was lying on the Scout Bobber backwards – reverse- cowgirl. I’ve never been so comfortable at a photoshoot before, my body molded with hers.

Jay Finesse. I think I’m a good ride!

I bought myself a motorcycle the moment I finished school.

We’ve been waiting anxiously, patiently! Finally we have it – signed, sealed and delivered – we bring to you Nathalie Faydherbe as our LW Babe of the Week. A Cape Town beach babe who’s sex appeal levels are off the charts.

Lets kick things off with a quick introduction to Nathalie. Who, why, what?
Well I was born in Zimbabwe on the 2nd November, I moved to Cape Town 4 years ago to chase my dream and love for dance. I am currently finishing my studies, next year I graduate with my dance papers in ballet, tap and modern and my teachers. I am the eldest of 3 girls. My star sign is Scorpio and as much as I don’t believe in astrology the personality is to a T. I have always been hectically into nutrition and fitness due to my dad who still beats me in the gym half the time. My parents are without a doubt my role models.

We’re excited to finally have you featured as an LW Babe. What does this feature mean to you?
It’s exciting and such an honour to be featured as an LW Babe, I’m still speechless I was asked to be. It really means a lot as it gives me a chance to inspire and motivate even more people, as well as give people an opportunity to get to know a bit about me.

Take us through your photo-shoot with Renier for this feature? 
Well I can tell you, winter is definitely on its way [laughs]. Started off as a very icy and misty morning, there was a bit of procrastinating with coffee and wardrobe planning. I don’t think I have been so hesitant to get into water before but once the first outfit was on, the photos just came effortlessly between Renier’s incredible eye and shivering sexiness behind the lens. As time went on I soon became so used to the water that I didn’t want to get out, even more so at the end of the shoot when the Sun eventually broke through. It was definitely for me one of the best shoots I have done. There was a good many laughs at me screaming as the waves broke on me or water splashed me as I was trying to be serious about life. It was definitely a shoot for the books.

Would you consider yourself a beach/ bikini babe?
I do consider myself a beach/ bikini Babe because I basically could live in bikinis but more so because I believe I should have been a mermaid. I love the feeling of the sun on my skin. If I was given half the chance I would live in the water, I’m a beach baby through and through. Most of my modelling pictures are done in swimwear as well.

When not looking good in front of a camera, what can you normally be found doing?
If I’m not shooting I’m usually in the dance studio or the gym, sometimes I’m gaming and yes I am a tad of a nerd but I don’t mind. If I’m not doing any of that I’m working as I part time hostess at two restaurants.

What gets you excited? 
This may sound silly but being able to help people. Any opportunity that gives me the chance to inspire/ motivate people gets me excited. It’s another chance for me to make a change and make a difference in the world. As well as anything outdoors and adventurous, I love a good adrenaline rush.

Sex appeal. How would you best describe it?
I would describe it as believing in yourself and having confidence in who you are and your body. It’s loving every curve and stretch mark on your body, because how can you except someone else to love them if you can’t. There is nothing more beautiful and sexy that a woman who can fully embrace who she is, her body and say truthfully she loves her flaws and not care what people have to say about her. That for me is sex appeal. It’s confidence and self love.

What type of guy do you find yourself attracted to and what attributes do you look for first? 
What I look for first is how they interact with other people as well as how they approach me and if it’s with respect. I would say I look for someone who looks after their health and body as it shows maturity and is attractive. Someone well groomed, and is presentable. Someone who is motivated and driven because it motivates me to work harder for what I want. I look for someone who lives a similar lifestyle to me, and who’s adventurous and spontaneous, that can keep me on my toes.

For a guy approaching you for the first time, what are your do’s and don’ts? 
Do’s – Be confident in your approach. Engage in an intellectual conversation and not small talk. Manners! Greet whoever else I’m with.
Don’t –  Don’t Be arrogant, there is nothing attractive about it, Don’t be rude to my friends or anyone I’m with, Don’t use a cliché or cheesy pick up line, its just sad. Don’t be vulgar, it’s so off putting

Every girl has their naughty side. When does yours come out to play?
Probably after 6-7 tequilas or a bottle of champagne [laughs].

How would you rate your flirting game?
It’s really hard to say. It comes naturally to me so I would say 7/10 .

What drives you? 
Looking back on the past and seeing how far I have come. It makes me push harder as I know what I’m capable of doing so. It’s proving wrong everyone who said I can’t and showing them I can. It’s being able to sit at the end of the day saying I did it, I’m a step closer.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Naughty? 50 Shades of Grey.

Nice? Chocolate or flowers.

Embarrassing? Putting on my gym pants the wrong way round and not realising it.

Turn on? Touch/ intelligence.

Turn off? Arrogance.

The MandyKgobe Cruiser. I am yet to become a powerhouse brand and it might sound cliche for now, but cruise through life silently and leave my footprints.
