Where does your name originate?
My name is from Croatian origin as I was born in Croatia.

If we had to spend a day in your shoes, what would we experience?
Work work and more work! From early morning I am awake to go and run a supplement shop at a gym, I do my marketing and admin for two of my businesses (dance school and model management), after that I have dance classes ranging from solo, duet, group and adult classes. At the moment I am on a break with my studies. Otherwise it is studying psychology in between. When nighttime touches down I hit the gym until 8:30pm, then I’m off to go eat and sleep.

If you had to relate yourself to any Movie character, who would it be and why?
It would have to be SuperWoman. As a dance teacher, model coach, part-time photographer, makeup artist, psychology student and model, I sometimes don’t know how I manage to do everything that I do. But I do it all including making time for friends, family and my fiancé.

What have been some of your highlights of 2017 thus far?
I have always been struggling to find a suitable place to give my dance lessons and not too long ago I was given the opportunity to teach at the Sport Centre in my community. Now I have a nice dance studio. I have been granted the Miss Culture SA title to represent SA at the end of the year in the international pageant, Miss Culture Worldwide. I was given the opportunity to be MC for the Miss United Continents SA event. It was also my first time to be an extra on a TV commercial.

What are you still looking forward to achieving this year?
Just absolute success with my dancers and their competitions as well as my models that I train. Success for myself in all the respective fields I am in.

How long have you been modeling for and what type of modeling do you enjoy the most?
I have been modeling since I was 12 years old. Then I took a break and when I became independent I decided to open my own model management and start with the modeling again. I enjoy photographic modeling because I love the dress up and styling, changing my character and also because I love being in front of the camera.

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera?
Posing. I always want to be one step ahead of the photographer to make his or her job easier.

What is your perception of sex appeal? 
I think a person should look at sex appeal as a kind of energy a person reflects from himself or herself. Confidence is the greatest of sex appeal, a woman with confidence is for me a sexy woman.

How would you rate your flirting game, and how would a lucky someone know when you’re flirting?
I am a shy and reserved girl and happy to go unnoticed, but I do have a completely opposite side when I get comfortable. If I flirt I giggle a lot and I would stare deeply into a persons eyes when wanting attention.

When it comes to guys, what five things are most important to you?
A man should be loyal, romantic, intellectual, goal driven and hard working.

Which era would you have liked to have grown up in, and why?
The Elizabethan Era. I loved their vintage garments and so much happened in that era. Shakespeare published his first play, chocolate, cinnamon and avocados are just some of the hundreds of flavorful items that the British tasted for the first time. Ghosts (horror fanatic) were common in that era and poetry was respected back then.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like adventure and nature, anything in nature is great. I love to dance and socialise.

What are your words to live by?
Work hard, become successful and don’t let anybody else tell you how to live your life. At the end you should be happy with your choices you have made.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Winter? Snow, I have always wanted to see snow.

Date night? Stars, love a picnic under the stars.

Sexy? Smile, a smile tells so much about a person’s confidence.

Attitude? Dance, as a dance teacher that’s all I say in dance class “attitude, attitude!”

Must have? Makeup, as a makeup artist I believe each girl must have makeup to enhance her best facial features.

Weekends? Relax, since I am a busy woman I love my weekends to relax. If I have free a weekend that is.

In a job interview with us, how would you sell yourself to make sure you got the job?
I would pretty much just be myself, I’m a very loud and bubbly person, I have loads and loads of energy and I am a very straight forward, saying pretty much anything and everything out loud when it comes to my mind .

How often do you use your good looks to get yourself out of trouble?
[Laughs] Pretty much all the time.

You’ve had your fair share of injuries. Tell us about some of them and which of was the most hectic?
Wow I could write a storybook. I broke my first bone playing soccer which was my right arm, I then broke my left arm trying to fly kick a ball off a staircase. It didn’t end there. I have broken my right arm 4 times. There have been a few in between but my worst one was when I was in a car accident on my way to Oppikoppi. I broke some ribs, fingers and my femur, as well as having a few other hairline fractures in my leg and resulted in 9 surgeries.

What are some of the random reactions you’ve received to your tattoos?
I think I get stopped at least everyday and get asked the most ridiculous questions like “what happens when you’re old?”, my response is “I’m going to be an awesome granny”. The most random one though is when a guy stopped me and said “would you ever consider wearing the same shirt for ten years? Because having a sleeve tattoo is like wearing the same shirt for your whole life”.

How would you best explain the pain of getting tattooed?
I haven’t really ever found any of them extremely sore, except for my ankle and fingers but it’s definitely an addictive pain.

We’re pretty sure you have a naughty side. When does it come out to play?
Pretty much all the time. You would be better off asking, when does it not come out to play.

What did you think of your shoot with us for this feature?
I thought it was awesome and I enjoyed every second, really enjoyed all the jokes and laughter.

Which scene did you feel the sexiest in and which scene do you think our readers will find the sexiest?
I felt sexy in all of them and I don’t really have a favorite, I liked all of them. I think the readers will enjoy the bed or bathroom scenes the best.

What type of guy makes you go weak at the knees?
Definitely a confident guy. I always look at a guys hands. A hot body, but not a steroid junkie, and tattoos are always a bonus.

If you got the chance to spend an evening with your celebrity crush, who would it be and what would you get up to?
Channing Tatum, and a little of everything.

If you had to take us out on a date, what could we expect?
Painting the town red.

What is one of the most spontaneous things you have ever done, and would you do it again?
Jumping off a 23m high cliff and fracturing 3 vertebrates in my neck. I would definitely do it again.

What is your dream holiday destination?
Vegas and Miami have always my dream destinations and I’m going to both of them in the next 2 months. After that Ibiza or Cancun.

I am strong willed, straight forward and I have a passion for knowledge – I’m dynamic, open minded and a realist.

If you could go back to any grade in school, which would it be?
Grade 8. So care free, stress free and no worries – Hakuna Matata.

What type of person were you in school compared to who you are now?
I was very much to myself in school and I kind of just went to school and home. I didn’t really interact much with the school and their activities, where as now I feel I have had a lot of self-growth and I enjoy interacting with people on a deep level. I also love presenting in front of a large crowd and can wing almost any situation without you even knowing it, comes from self confidence.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I would like to have established myself as a career women as well as being able to travel a bit when I can, and owning my own property that I could call home.

What do you enjoy most about being in front of the camera?
It gives you a lot of self-confidence. It’s a huge boost to my self-esteem, and it’s nice to see yourself and be like, damn I did that. Especially if you didn’t really think before the time that the results would have been so good. Being in front of the camera also allows you to express yourself in a way that only can be seen through your photos. Pictures speak a thousand words you know.

If you could change any part of your body, what would it be?
Nothing. Beautifully and wonderfully crafted. We all have motivational images that we would like and aspire to look like, but I really do believe that if you lead a healthy lifestyle, that you become content with how you look, without needing to change a thing.

What is your opinion of sex appeal?
One phrase, self-confidence.

Explain your perfect man?
To me there is no such thing as a perfect man, but for me I am more interested in a guy who can treat me with the respect and love which I feel all women deserve. Someone who doesn’t just look at the cover, but loves to read as well.

What do you like to do for fun?
Road trips, especially unplanned ones. Anything that can challenge me to put fears aside, like bungee jumping or skydiving. Spending time with friends and socialising.

If you could be a fly on the wall during any historic situation, which would it be?
The holocaust, not to experience their pains, cause I have watched enough documentaries about it and it was tragic, but more so to understand how human beings could treat each other like that. To know what went on in their minds, etc.

What does a day in the life of Camilee consist of?
I wake up, first check my phone before getting out of bed, go make breakfast, shower and get ready for the day. Go to class, lunch with friends always, gym in the afternoon, which honestly tends to be the best time in my day. Go home and make supper and by that time it’s usually quite late and then go to sleep.

What are your words to live by?
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Phil 4:13. It applies to absolutely everything.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Summer? Beach, sunny weather, cocktails and friends.

Winter? Warm cozy nights in with a glass of red wine watching my favorite series.

Good times? Memories that you either can or can’t remember, either way you know it was a good night.

Sexy? I think of wearing my favorite dress paired with my favorite heels, makeup and hair done, and feeling amazing in it.

Lingerie? Lingerie makes you feel sexy automatically. If you feel good wearing sexy lingerie, then it will always be a good day.

Sensual? To feel sensual. You should be confident and comfortable in your own body, you know what makes you feel good and once you know what works for you, you will feel sensual in all that you do. There is something so empowering about being totally comfortable in your own skin.

I have been so privileged to have parents that allowed me to spread my wings and encourage me to fulfill my dreams as an independent woman. If you could be president any country, which would it be and why?
South Africa, because I don’t believe in giving up in my own country. We can build a better future as long as we do it all as a team.

With all that power and money, how would you most likely put it to use?
The heart of any nation is education, and I feel we need to sort our heart out first for the rest of the body to function. Many children don’t have sufficient education from the basic start which is what needs to be focused on first. Money will pay for proper classes and desks for pupils.
Secondly health care, for many of those who don’t receive a proper income, it can be difficult to afford medical aid and support their families. Businesses should incorporate medical aid plans for employees and their families.

What’s the best part about being a Durban girl?
The beach and the warm weather all year around.

What do you like to do with your off time?
Go Horse riding.

What is one of the craziest things you have ever done, and would you do it again?
I rode an ostrich, and yes I would do it again.

Obviously a summer holiday, because what’s better than getting a tan and wearing cheeky shorts?

What makes Danielle Masters tick?
I love the feeling of exercising and being active. Also learning more and more about the body and sport aspects everyday – this makes me tick.

What have been some of the defining moments of your life that have made you the person you are today?
I was a really shy girl, but being involved in sports really helped me boost my confidence and come out of my shell. So many defining moments for me all involved sport achievements.

You are studying Biokinetics. What made you get into that and where would you like to see it take you?
I was active my whole life, from starting acrobatics at a young age and finally taking to elite swimming in my teen years. I also matriculated from a sports school in Pretoria and was surrounded by sports scientists, coaches, physiotherapists. Seeing that their job was working with athletes made me really interested in pursuing the field of sports performance so I decided to take on Biokinetics and hopefully be working with top sportsmen in a variety of sports one day. As well as help prevent injuries of sportsman, as I had to retire from swimming early due to an injury

We have to admit, you have an amazing body. What do you like to do to keep in such good shape?
I really like to swim to keep fit. It involves cardio and strength aspects as well as targets all the muscles in the body.

What was the experience of shooting with us for this feature like?
I really enjoyed shooting with the crew, they made me feel really comfortable, confident and relaxed at the same time.

How does it feel to be featured as this week’s LW Babe?
I’m really excited about the feature as I am new to modeling industry.

First dates, what are your do’s and don’ts?
Do’s – Be respectful, make jokes, keep it chilled.
Don’ts – Talk about past relationships, be loud.

What are your tell-tale signs when you’re attracted to a guy?
If I am smiling a lot, and a little shy.

The boy next door, the bad boy and the popular guy. Which one do you go for?
None. I’m focusing on myself and studies right now.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like to go to day festivals and eat and chill with friends while listening to music. I like get involved in active events like park runs or fitness classes.

What day of the week is you favorite?
Friday, because I don’t have class on Friday and I always spend the night watching a movie and chilling.

How do you see the next 5 years of your life playing out?
I definitely want to pursue my career straight after studying but ideally working in Australia because they really focus on the science behind sport. As well as travel the world.

What are weekends made for?

This would be the roof scene, even though I am afraid of heights I enjoyed the view.

My favorite part was how amazing the crew for the day was and how comfortable the whole vibe was for the day.

What is your definition of sexy?
Men in uniform, since being in the career I’m in [laughs].

What’s your take on girls with tattoos?
Well I’m covered in tattoos and don’t regret one single one. I love females with tattoos.

Tell us about yours and are you planing on getting more?
My left arm sleeve is a family tree to me with my parents and sisters names and portraits. I plan on getting a few more to remind me of my career and stepping stones.

What is the life of a paramedic like?
It’s not a job for just anyone and definitely not something you just decide to do one day, we do it because we have a passion for it and that’s that. Everyday there’s new obstacles that we have to get our heads around. But we’re a family in this industry and it helps us all keep our sanity a little longer.

You must see and experience some crazy situations, what has been one of the worst and how do you deal with it?
I can never tell people who ask me what the worst thing I’ve seen or dealt with is as we see everyone’s worse nightmares everyday. But the worst thing I’ve seen is my pay cheque every month [laughs].

Guys, what type suits your needs?
Someone focused and strong. Someone who has achieved in life and shares the same values and passions as I do.

Have you ever used a pickup line on a guy, and if so what was it?
Yes I have [laughs]. I said he should stick with me for the night in case he needs a paramedic and I can save him.

I don’t have time off, like ever. I work nearly 7 days a week every week and with the little time I have off, I sleep.

What’s been happening in the life of Nicole since we last featured you in 2015?
Feels like just yesterday… well since then I started my own business in Marketing, Promotions and Staffing which has really taken off. I’ve also really changed my lifestyle and I’ve become more active and health and fitness conscious…and I went back to brunette [laughs].

How and why did you get into the fitness industry?
I’ve always been active my whole life being a Rhythmic Gymnast for like 15 years growing up. So getting into fitness, besides the influence from my friends who are all in it, allows me to remain active at the same time as providing me a platform on which I’m still able to perform.

How much has it changed your lifestyle and what is it like competing?
I’ve actually become more conscious of my diet and what foods I consume because it helps you see what foods are good for you and your body-type, and what foods you need to stay away from. This obviously all helps with keeping you in great shape, not to mention how reality hits when you realise how much crap is in some foods people consume on the daily, it makes me cringe.
Competing is so fascinating, how you are able to control and manipulate your body through diet and training. For me it’s all a constant learning adventure, I love it! Needless to say I love being on that stage and in the spotlight, it’s the best feeling to be able to show off all your hard work and dedication and be rewarded accordingly.

You are off to PCA Bodypower in China in September to represent South Africa as part of the SA PCA team. What does this opportunity mean to you and how much preparation goes into an event like this?
Ah wow, I can’t even tell you how amazing it was to qualify for such a huge event after placing top 3 at Battle of the Titans V. To be able to step up on the world stage is just such an honour and I give thanks to Kevin Schwartz and the team for allowing me this opportunity. With regards to prep, there is so much to it that your average person can never begin to understand. I would have never been able to do any of this without my amazing coach, Steven McLeod. At the end of the day he’s the master and I’m the puppet, we make a great team. I have already started prepping so here’s a cheers to 3 months of Hangry mood swings [laughs].

What are some of your favourite workouts? 
I love training shoulders and arms purely because I’ve always had the most ridiculously skinny spaghetti arms [laughs]. So when you see and feel that pump, it’s really gratifying and self-confidence boosting. Don’t even mention cardio to me please, cardio is the devil.

You have obviously seen some good changes in your body. Which parts of your body have become your favourite?
My legs and butt hey. Same story, I’ve always just had skinny beanpoles but since Steve started me on my plan I’ve just really changed shape and taken form which again is so awesome. It’s like my whole frame has changed (for the better duh). I’ve always had legs for days but now I have muscular toned legs for days, it makes all the difference in a good pair of heels!

When you’re not training, what do you like to do with your off time?
Party with my bitcheeeeeeeees [laughs].

Tell us about your business you have started?
Well, I started up AlphaOmega which is pretty much a Marketing, Promotion and Staffing business where I help small businesses with getting off the ground in terms of marketing and strategy. I execute campaign work and management, promotions, conceptualization etc. More recently I’ve gotten into the business of staffing events.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Married with kids… Living on an island… [laughs] Naaaat, jokes. I dunno hey, I prefer to just roll with it, whatever happens happens. I could die tomorrow so YOLO life hey.

What is your description of sex appeal?
Ooof gosh sex appeal? How he looks at you hey! The way he looks at you can say a thousand things without saying a word. I guess it’s that mystery that allows for you to always be on your toes. Unpredictability, it’s a fantastic thing.

What would a night with your man crush entail?
Honestly, Netflix and cuddles on the couch.

Teasing and flirting with guys. What’s your sure fire way?
To act completely uninterested, honestly. Don’t ask, but it works… apparently.

A day in the life of Nicole?
Gym, work, shopping, chores… the occasional meet up with one two members, then Friday to Sunday, it was all a blur [laughs].

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Rockstar? An energy drink I’m highly allergic to.

Adrenaline? Falling down those steps at work.

Attractive? Me after the jol at 4am.

Sensual? The way I tend to enjoy an ice cold beer.

That would be Cape Town. I mean, in every direction you look, you see beauty. I love the vibe and the social life. Mainly because you can take part in so many fun and adventurous outdoor activities.

What do you like to do for fun? 
Sounds boring but my ultimate favorite thing to do after a long hard day is come home, run a hot bath, light some candles, put on some good music and chill. I love me-time. Doing my nails, face masks, and grooming.

If you could be any one famous person for one day, who would you be and what would you get up to?
Probably Jim Carey. It would be so fulfilling and gratifying adding joy to peoples day’s wherever you go. I would act just as he does, making jokes and playing the fool.

What is one of the naughtiest things you have ever done?
If I told you, I’d have to kill you!

If we had to spend a day in your shoes, what would we experience?
A huge amount of laughter and joy. I laugh a lot! You’d also experience a mad rush. My life never stops, always rushing from one thing to the next. But that’s the way I like it.

What are your pet peeves?
Gym perves and when people snort in public.

What’s your take on shy guys?
Cute but not my cuppa tea. Confidence is a big turn on in my books.

A shy guy, a hipster and a jock walk into a bar. Which one are you hoping buys you a drink?
The hipster. A hipster would probably be super chilled and easy to converse with. The shy guy would make me do all the work and the jock would expect me to go home with him.

What should a date with you consist of?
Quality time. Wine. Food. A bit of romance. Did I mention food. Maybe a bit of footsy footsie under the table. Oh, and I want to get into bed with sore cheeks from smiling so much.

What’s been going on in the life of Leana since we last featured you in 2015?
Since my last feature I won the IFBB SA Beach Bikini Championships held in Sandton, shortly after my shoot with LW Mag. I got married, celebrated my 27th and 28th Birthdays, became an aunt to a beautiful baby boy, joined a dancing academy and signed my first international modeling contract for a skincare Beauty advertisement.

What have been some of your highlights?
I competed at the Arnold Classic Amateur fitness Show in May 2016 and had the privilege to be in the presence of the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have always admired Arnold and found this to be a dream come true. But mostly becoming an aunt and wife has definitely been the proudest moments of my life!

What was it like shooting with the team again for this feature?
As always I have so much fun with the LW Mag team, not only do they always have brilliant shoot locations and posing ideas but they always tend to make me laugh and feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera! Very honored to be featured for a second time, thank you so much for this LW Mag.

What do you like to do for fun on the weekends?
I love to spend time with friends and family, attending braais or heading out to watch a movie or even just have some coffee and cake. My weekdays can get pretty busy with work and training therefore I usually make sure I always make time for special people in my life. You will also find me walking my dogs every Sunday afternoon, love being outdoors and my dogs don’t complain at all [laughs].

Which part of your day is your favorite?
Without a doubt waking up in the mornings and going to bed in the evenings, because I get to wake up and go to bed next to my best friend.

Tell us which is your favorite TV Series, Movie, Band, Song, Drink, Food, Sport?
TV Series: I never miss an episode of The Bachelor/ Bachelorette. I love seeing people find their happily ever after ending.
Movie: Is it weird that I’ve watched Titanic maybe 50 times by now? [Laughs] best movie ever!
Song: Right now has to be Despacito. I love music that makes me feel sexy and confident.
Food: Has to be my very own spaghetti bolognaise.
Drink: A Cherry Jar we discovered recently at this lovely Portuguese restaurant close to where we gym.
Sport: I’m not really a sport fanatic and you won’t ever find me watching sport at home but I do love training and lifting weights at the gym.

What are your words to live by?
Be real, be yourself, be unique, be true, be honest, be humble and be happy.

What’s your way to a man’s heart?
The way to my man’s heart is taking him to the shooting range [laughs].

What one thing can a guy do to make you go weak at the knees?
In all honestly, if you can make me laugh you have my full attention? I love laughing; besides laughter is the root of good memories!

If you were granted three wishes, what would yours be?
1. To Indulge in all my favorite treats, all day long, every day and staying on a 1 digit body-fat percentage all year – wouldn’t that be nice.
2. To speak every language imaginable.
3. Endless wishes, all being granted of course [laughs].

What does a day in the life of Kriska entail?
Numerous hours of sleep followed by large amounts of food and laughter.

What goes through your mind when you are posing in front of the camera?
Since a young age I have felt comfortable in front of a camera. Nowadays when I am in front of the camera I try not to keep it simple and to not overthink things.

How long have you been in the modelling game and what do you enjoy about it most?
I joined my first modelling agency late in 2014 and am now with 3D models. I adore meeting new people and being able to join a team of artists to create something memorable.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love to hike, cook and read, but my favourite past time would be dancing. I am a festival fanatic.

What are your pet peeves?
I love driving but am extremely impatient and hate traffic. I tend to swear uncontrollably.

What are your tell-tale signs when you are into a guy?
To be honest, I’m not sure if I have any tell-tale signs. I assume I become more attentive and possibly gigglier.

What type of guy do you find yourself attracted to?
I find myself attracted to someone who is comfortable in their own skin. I am drawn to someone who likes adventure.

What’s your definition of sex-appeal?
I believe that everybody has their own kind of sex-appeal, be it in the way they speak, the way they smile or their overall energy.

When I was younger I used to write manuscripts and dreamed of becoming an author.

What is you dream job, and why?
I absolutely adore Interior Design, but for now I am thrilled to finish my degree and see what the future holds.

What is one of the craziest things you have ever done, and would you do it again?
In 2015 I entered a 5FM competition where I was flown to Joburg to live in the back of a Nissan bakkie with three strangers in the attempt to win the car. I would do it again, because insanely enough I ended up winning!

Most defiantly Gordon Ramsay! I mean come on, he is the most talented award winning chef with all his great shows, damn I wish I could cook like him. I’m such a foodie, so being in his shoes for a day, eating lots of food, I would be in my element. Plus, I won’t lie, I love his crazy personality, who doesn’t want to be called an idiot sandwich.

What is your favorite part about being in front of the camera? 
Well, I’m quite shy. I mean I love putting on a different persona when I’m shooting, it makes me feel so confident and gives me the boost I need.

What do you like to do for fun?
I’m like any other girl, I love the beach, going for lunch, hikes and clubbing being around mates.

What are your pros and cons of being a Cape Town girl?
Pros – Coming from Zim to this beautiful city there is so much. There is so much to see and do and I’m always keeping busy. From the gorgeous trails and mountains to the night life!
Cons – At first I found that it was hard to make friends with CT people as they love to keep in there clicks/ groups, but I have made some great friends here. It’s just sad that there is so much gossip and rumours that go around everyday.

What does a day in the life of Paula usually consist of?
Nothing fancy. I love gym so gymming in the morning to going to work after which is mostly a lot of driving and doing things with the kids, so I’m always active. But I always sneak in a glass of wine when I can!

What is your definition of sex appeal?
A man with a sexy beard, charming as hell, must be able to hold a great conversation and have a little comedy in his life.

What type of guy grabs your attention?
A guy with confidence. The guy doesn’t even need to be good looking if he can pull off being confident and can create a spark that leaves me with butterflies and a little curious for more, I’m happy.

Tell us about one of the best dates you’ve ever been on?
Hmm… well I have been to some really great restaurants but to me it’s more personal. My ex went all out on Valentine’s Day, I love a guy that can cook so he made such a gorgeous table setting with fairy lights to roses you name it. He made all my favorite food and played all my favorite love songs. It was truly magical looking out at the stars. I felt very happy and spoilt.

Flirting, how should it be done?
[Laughs] I love it when guys come up with there silly pick-up-lines. Most girls hate it but I think they’re so funny you can’t help but laugh… “did you sit on a pile of sugar, because dam you have a pretty sweet ass”, “excuse me is your name earl grey? Because you look like hot tea?”. I mean they so funny, I love hearing them. So to all the men out there, keep sending your pick-up-lines this way.

What’s your take on – Hipsters, tattoos, Jocks?
Hipsters are cool, like I said I love beards – neat ones of course. Who doesn’t love a guy who has that rugged look, but pitch up on a date with me with no shoes and I’m out.
Tattoos are so sexy. Sleeves are really hot but the whole thing when you get old and them arms become flappy, it becomes really gross so best they keep in shape.
Jocks have always been hot. We all watch those high school movies and of the girl who lands up with a jock…and want to be them.

Thank you. I would say my favourite part is my hands, I’m so grateful for them as I am a therapist and touch is extremely important.

What’s your secret to keeping is such good shape?
A healthy lifestyle. I workout twice a day and try to make healthy food choices as much as I possibly can. When I am competing, I do have a strict nutrition plan that I follow.

What type of guy do you find yourself attracted to? 
I am attracted to ambition, a clever man with a wicked sense of humour. A man that takes care of himself physically, with strong arms… it’s my weakness. A man with manners and who knows how to treat a lady with respect.

What’s your surefire way to seal the deal with him?
He must be partially metrosexual but still be rough around the edges. A guy who is as keen for a picnic as he is for a movie on the couch. He must open up to me emotionally and give me foot massages from time to time.

First dates. What should they consist of?
Loads of laughs. Chemistry. Candles. Wine. Dessert.

What can you normally be found doing on the weekends?
Mostly Im at home just relaxing, spending time with my man watching MotoGP or catching up on series, having visits with family and friends, a casual braai is always in order.

If you had the opportunity to work for any major company, which would it be? 
I’d preferably like to own the business rather than be employed, but if i had to choose I’d probably say Google! They have every possible facility you could need under one roof, including an incredible spa and gym [laughs].

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Have a cup of coffee to get me out of bed in the first place.

What’s the last thing you do before going to sleep at night?
Have a cup of green tea.

It was awesome! The whole team was beyond amazing and highly entertaining to work with.

Which scene did you feel the sexiest in and why?
The last scene in which I was wearing the black gown. It’s sexy because it shows so much and so little at the same time. It’s thrilling and gets the imagination running… was I naked underneath that? was I clothed? Hahaha secrets.

What are you hoping is going through the minds of our readers as they go through this feature?
I hope they see that our county is full of strong, beautiful women and I hope I inspire confidence in others. Maybe even make someone’s day.

What’s your definition of sex appeal?
Someone who carries themselves well and who is comfortable in who they are and what they stand for.

What does your ultimate fantasy consist of?
Living on a secluded island with the people who mean the most to me. Surviving off the land and spending hours under the sun with a good book.

What are your turn-ons and turn-offs?
My turn-ons are definitely a great sense of humour and of course a few tattoos don’t hurt.
My turn-offs would be someone who doesn’t like animals and someone who is cruel toward the people around them. Poor hygiene definitely.

Oooh, tough [laughs]. Honestly I’d say throw in some humour and sarcasm and you’ve got me. If it’s something corny or unintelligent then it’s a no go.

I am studying Mandarin Chinese because I go crazy if my brain isn’t being challenged.

If I drink [laughs] or when the right person brings it out (smiles and winks).

Who is Crystal Hoffman?
I’m a very bubbly, blonde Afrikaans girl with a sassy attitude and a spontaneous soul. Definitely a people’s person who loves spending time with my friends and family. I have a big heart, but can be very stubborn at times. I’m a sucker for love.

What are your pros and cons of being a Durban girl?
My pros would be the different cultures, our lovely beaches and good weather just about all year round. Con has got to be the insane humidity.

Now that summer is around the corner, what are you looking forward to most during this season?
I’m looking forward to living in my bikini, tanning my cheeks at the beach or lounging by the pool with my friends.

When it comes to beach-goers, what are you pet peeves?
Definitely peoples waste on the beach, leaving empty glass bottles and cigarette butts lying around.

What would you rather be doing right now?
Being able to work on my future career. I’m still young and want to be successful.

What drives you?
Success. I’m a go-getter that won’t quit until the job is done. I’m working on myself every day to become a better version than yesterday.

Do blondes really have more fun? 
I do believe that blondes have more fun. Whenever a blonde walks into a room, all eyes are on her and that is definitely a confidence booster. Besides, blondes get away with everything.

What is your secret to keeping your body in such good shape?
Training 5 days a week and my diet. Eating clean is vital.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Reach for my cell.

If you could be the star character in any movie, which would it be?
I would be Allie in The Notebook. I want to be loved by someone the way Noah loved Allie.

When was the last time you blushed uncontrollably?
I was standing in a liquor store in front of the vodka section and said to my boyfriend “I love Russian Beer”, he and a few of his friends burst out laughing and said it’s Russian Bear. Typical Afrikaans girl, needless to say I was so embarrassed.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your sex appeal?
I would say an 8. I’ve got that look in my eyes and I’m comfortably and confident in my own skin.

What one thing that guys do drives you crazy, in a good way?
Men with tattoos who lift, and who are kind and gentle.
